It is #FlashyFriday and Patricia Z. is here to flex her food! We're dying to know what went into this dry-roasted stir fry! Drooling! We've been sticking with our meal plan theme, but in light of current events, we're inviting other kinds of entries for next week: Flash your workspace! How do you stay organized at home? Show us in a pic! ... Flash your food! Final product, process - it doesn't really matter. BUT we'd love to see videos of meal planning trips - ghost towns are spooky but interesting! We'll choose 1-3 and share on April 10. Submit your entries via messenger Pictured: Dry-Roasted Stir Fry Oven-Roasted Asparagus Made from scratch Paleo donuts made w/ almond flour & sweetened with maple syrup - yum!

Like all things, social media has its drawbacks. But it's a tool that allows us to connect regardless of where we are on a map, and we need that more than ever! Support a healthcare worker from a distance YOU ARE NOT ALONE!... https://www.gofundme.com/c/act/covid19

Who else has read Charlotte’s Web, Stuart Little, or The Trumpet of the Swan? These books were written between the 1940s and the 1970s. Stuart Little was written in 1945 and made it all the way to the silver screen in 1999. Many of us read The Trumpet of the Swan as children. Charlotte's Web was published in 1952, and the movie was released during Christmas of 2006. But why are we talking about children's novels? We're experiencing an atmosphere of concern & uncertainty. The...se difficult feelings are perpetuated by the effects of isolation. We are social creatures; isolation is not exactly good medicine for the human spirit. Not when we don't have a choice. In 1973, EB White, creator of Stuart, Charlotte, & our favorite swan, Louis, replied to a despondent letter from a friend with a message of hope in hard times. It is resonating decades after it was delivered. Most cities & counties in GA & across the country are ordering us to shelter in place, & many are enforcing curfews. In Gwinnett, people are being fined & even given jail time for breaking these orders. It's scary. We may not write letters to each other anymore, but our ability to overcome challenges together hasn’t changed. Yes, we need to keep our distance from each other; but COVID-19 is not the first enemy humanity has faced together, & it won’t be the last. For tomorrow is another day

These maps & graphs of COVID-19's rapid journey through our communities are staggering. Our home state of Georgia is escalating quickly. PLEASE practice social distancing, wash your hands, and don't take unnecessary trips. It's easier said than done, but this rapid onset is serious. We hope everyone is staying, and hopefully feeling, safe out there! http://ow.ly/9lPW50yUDe5

The Meal Plan Challenge Day 8! Eggs might be in short supply, but we're still planning meals! Don't forget: we may be talking about food all the time BUT the goal is to reduce costs and get a bit closer to #financialwellness. Here are some free tools that will help! ... Download Digit! It analyzes your finances and automatically saves what you can afford.
