At least several times a week I hear students say that they’re trying to swing from in to out. This can be a fairly productive thought and drill for someone who’s swing is very much out to in (in other words, over the top). But an exaggerated in to out move can lead to host of ball flight issues including blocks to the right (for right handed golfers), flip hooks to the left, thins and fats. The ideal path is slightly from inside the target line to square at impact and then back to the inside. That will give you the greatest chance for solid contact and straight shots.
