Girls state track and field championships begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Come out to Hugh Mills to support these state champions.

High School Track this afternoon, field events begin at 4:30 p.m.

The soccer games today have been cancelled. Dougherty vs Cairo will be played on March 3 Monroe vs Worth and Albany vs Westover will reschedule at a later date.

Come on out to Hugh Mills Stadium this weekend where all four local high schools will play. Friday night Monroe vs Westover with kick up at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday Albany vs Dougherty with kick off at 7:00 p.m.This will be Albany High's homecoming. Come on out and support your local high school student athletes.

Unfortunately Albany High game had to be called a "no contest" because they were 3 mins shy of making it to half time. GHSA rule states: (a) If the Football or Soccer contest is terminated before it has reached the halfway point, the contest is declared a no contest. (b) If the Football or Soccer contest is terminated after it has reached the halfway point, the score at the point of termination is final.
