Great talk today from Ricky Steele, author and philantropist from Columbus, GA. Mr. Steele shared his passion for helping others and gave us real life examples of servant leadership. Over the past 30 years he has started 2 not-for-profit organizations that focus on feeding the homeless. We can all learn from his life purposes - be a servant and love each and every person he meets. It was an honor having Susan Wood speak to our club today! Susan is the Executive Director with the House of Heroes. This local chapter is doing an incredible job reaching out to military and public service veterans in the Chattahoochee valley.

This Wednesday, 3/14, Buddy Bryan (Muscogee Co Coroner) will be speaking to our club about his experience over the last several years as the city coroner. In 2013, Buddy was named "Coroner of the Year"! We will meet at 11:30 at St. Luke United Methodist Church downtown. Bring a friend!

Scott Seal from TVA gave a very interesting talk today about TVA's Nuclear generation program. He also happens to be Ronnie Culpepper's son-in-law!

Enjoyed Kiwanis meeting today in Montezuma with the Mayor and fellow Georgia Power manager Larry Smith.

Our guest speakers for December are as follows: David Shemwell, Operations Administrator with "Feeding the Valley" on Wednesday, 12/21 and Bobbi Yeo, CEO of "PAWS Humane", on Wednesday, 12/28. Lunch begins at 11:30 and the program begins at 12:00. Guests are welcome!
