Alas, I regret to say that it is time to say farewell. It has been an amazing 5 years in the Watkinsville/Athens area but the time has come to move on to other ventures. Running a restaurant is much like building sand castles. You are constantly battling outside forces. Sometimes the sand you use is too coarse, sometimes the wind is too strong, sometimes the tide is too high, but you press on. After a while, it becomes apparent that despite all your best efforts, your j...ust on the wrong beach. The people I have met as customers, coworkers, and friends who are more like family, have made me a better person and I thank each and every one of you for enriching my life. We will still be able to serve you in a catering aspect and hope that you will consider The Arbor for your next event location. It is truly an amazing space. So, I've been watching the Great British Baking Show lately. Highly recommended! It's so exciting! Anyway, I got inspired by all the custard & jam so I decided to make this! White chocolate sponge cake with a white chocolate ricotta custard, homemade berry jam & whipped cream. Paul Hollywood & Mary Berry would be so proud! I am! And it's SO delicious!!

What?? Are we finally getting some winter weather? Time to warm my soul with a whole wheat banana walnut muffin. Topped with brown sugar walnut streusel...oh yeah!
