LaBara Salon

The LaBara Salon Coordinator role ensures the salon experience for each guest from beginning to end. The position is the backbone of the salon, responsible for making sure everyone is enjoying their beauty while supporting day-to-day salon operations. On a daily basis, you will contribute to our salon culture by ensuring guests enjoy their beauty. You will greet guests, support the salon team, and take pride in the appearance of the salon. Salon Coordinator Requirements High School Diploma (Required) One year of experience in administrative, customer service, and/or sales related field Salon experience and or knowledge of salon operations a plus. Must be coachable and have a passion for beauty, people, and guest services Possess strong interpersonal, oral communication, human relation, and listening skills Must be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize duties/tasks, Reliable and available to work various schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to be flexible and adapt to business needs, and an everchanging salon environment Must have a professional image, and outward appearance, beauty is our business! Salon Coordinator Responsibilities Coordinate the daily flow of customers answering phones, scheduling, servicing, and check out. Welcome guests into the salon, engage and provide professional, high-quality customer service. Learn to explain salon services, and basic product knowledge to promote to guests. Learn to effectively use the salon’s computer system. Maintain cleanliness of the salon and sanitation practices in place for Covid-19. Effectively communicate with salon owner and stylists to run smooth operations. Manage inventory and orders to ensure the salon is prepared weekly Help manage marketing strategies and promotional initiatives. The LaBara Salon Assistant team consists of licensed professionals dedicated to advancing their technical skills, cultivating business knowledge, and sourcing new inspirations under the direction of our Master Stylists. On a daily basis, you will contribute to our salon culture by ensuring guests enjoy their beauty. You will greet guests, support the salon team, and take pride in the appearance of the salon. In addition, you will become part of the LaBara Apprenticeship prog...ram where you will gain continued education and training to grow and develop you into a talented stylist at LaBara Salon. REQUIREMENTS Must be in Cosmetology School or have an active Georgia Cosmetology License. Must be coachable and have a passion for beauty, people and guest services. Possess strong interpersonal, oral communication, human relation, and listening skills. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize duties/tasks. Reliable and available to work various schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be knowledgeable about salon professional hair care products. Ability to be flexible and adapt to business needs, and an everchanging salon environment Must have a professional image, and outward appearance, beauty is our business! RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outstanding guest services by acting professional and caring. Welcome guests into the salon and provide each with robes to start the salon experience. Engage with guests by providing high-quality services, shampoo, hair rinses, and assisting stylists with blowouts, styling, color, and treatments. Demonstrate product knowledge, technical growth and promote solutions to guests. Support the salon experience through maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas. Maintain cleanliness of the salon, including but not limited to sanitation practices in place for Covid-19, hair removal, laundry, dishes, inventory, product merchandising, etc. Provide front desk support, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking out our guests.
