The Laurens County Board of Commissioners declared a state of emergency in the county after two residents tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The declarati...on bans all social gatherings of 10 or more people, such church services, funerals, weddings, family reunions and political events. It does not apply to businesses with more than 10 employees. It also imposes 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew on all non-essential travel. See more
