LONG POST ALERT! SOME SUNDAY EVENING WISDOM- There are some things and some people that God WILL NOT move out of your way! The Holy Spirit is teaching you how t...o rise above what and who's agitating you! If God moved every obstacle, you would always be walking and existing on the same level! Obstacles give you something to stand on so that you can rise above what you "think" is such a problem and gain a better perspective. Stop allowing yourself to get so agitated at what and who God uses to grow and mature you. Sometimes they're not the problem. It's your inability to rise above it to become an effective witness for Christ! People will always have something to say. People will take subtle jabs at you. Whether directly, indirectly or even passive aggressively. However, you and I must continue to grow, mature, cherish and protect our witness! I truly understand that now more than ever. Set boundaries, remain focused and appreciate that God has called you to do and to be something very special for Him! Rise above the obstacles, keep the main thing the main thing and become a healthy and effective witness for Christ! LONG POST FOR PASTORS...Today I'm grateful to Pastor some pretty great people! I was able to minister to well over 125 people today plus stream our service glob...ally and meet with about 30 faithful leaders today! But a Pastor somewhere preached to an empty church today, is contemplating quitting his/her calling and still has to pay the bills as he/she prepares to go to their second job. While we do have some challenges within our ministry, I'm grateful for the challenges we do have. They could be so much worse! However, my heart is sincerely concerned for the Pastors who don't always have the resources nor the strength to continue. There are many Pastors who desire to help, to serve and to support. Not everyone is looking for an honorarium. Some of us are just looking to help. Please be encouraged! Don't give up friend! We need you! Don't let the Sunday evening blues take you out! There are people assigned to help you! In your prayer time, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to you and they will be revealed to you in the next few days! Be encouraged! I know that you're tired but launch out again and cast your nets one more time! Be encouraged and know that you are loved and very much appreciated!
