Members of the Mountain Ivy Garden Club spent time at their meeting to prep the Rock House and Veterans Memorial parks gardens for spring. Next time you're downtown stop in for a tour to enjoy their efforts.

The Mountain Ivy Garden Club presented their annual scholarship to Rabun High School senior Emma King. The check in the amount of $3,000 was presented to Emma at the club's May meeting. Congratulations Emma and best wishes in your upcoming scholastic endeavors!

Habitat ball constructed from combining two hanging baskets makes a wonderful backyard project. Finding bits of nature to help the wee things "make do"is a tre...asure hunt; meanwhile, we must learn to make do with less consumerism, less plastic, less waste. More beneficials please, give them a home. Thank you for concerning yourself with the ecological health of our beautiful garden.
