What are your thoughts on getting the vaccine? What have you and your family decided? Will you get it if you are pregnant? We are looking into supplying the vaccine here at the office but we need to know how many of you and/or your families would receive it. Dr. Davis has uploaded a Covid-19 vaccine information sheet to nilewhc.com to help you know all the facts.

We record these classes and provide a YouTube link for a...nyone who is signed up for class. You can find the link on the Nile Women's Health Care website. Hi Everyone, It's Beverly, CNM October 4-10, 2020 is National Midwifery Week. As the week draws to a close, it seems fitting to reflect on my last 8 years with Nile Women’s Health Care. I first joined the practice in December 2012 after a long career as a labor and delivery nurse. Work as a labor and delivery nurse was great, but I felt I could make more of a difference as a midwife. The past 8 years have been amazing. I have made friends that I know will last a lifetime. I ...have helped more than 9 nurses complete their midwifery or nurse practitioner training and watched them make their mark on our profession. I have welcomed over 1200 new lives into the world and grieved the losses. I vow to always be true to the spirit of midwifery to be with women. As I transition to a new journey, I know I will miss my Nile family and all of the families that I have met along the way. I am happy to say that I will soon be closer to my family. Please know how much I appreciate all of the kind words of support I have received as I leave Nile and begin a new role in my home town. See more

After nearly a decade, Beverly will be leaving Nile Women's Health Care at the end of October. She has made the decision to work closer to home giving her more time with her family. For days, I've been trying to figure out the right words to say. We totally understand her decision but we are so sad to see her go. I was scrolling through pictures and found this one from a few years ago. It beautifully sums up Beverly and her commitment to her craft. ... Not only does she give so much to her moms, she also brought new midwives under her wing, trained them up and welcomed them into the Nile family. Lynn is a great example of Beverly's efforts as well as the new midwife, Vernicia, that will officially start next week. Thank you, Beverly, for blessing us all with your talent and grace! Now, do we really have to have a virtual going-away party?!
