The NWS (Huntsville AL) forecast for tomorrow shows us in a Moderate risk with the main severe storms forming from 1pm to 11 pm (a 10 hour window). We will be... opening up the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) tomorrow to monitor the storms until they leave the Dade County. As usual we will send out updates as they come to us. We will also have our live updates as needed. (We will have our first live weather update, from the EOC, tomorrow (3/24/2021) during the regularly scheduled Dade County Weekly Update.) We are already activating the HUB (group of 20+ area churches who provide response, recovery & relief during severe weather events) to add additional storm shelters. If your church or group would like to be a part of the HUB please contact Mike King at 423-596-1181. Please use this link to the Dade County website to find current shelter information or follow Dade County Georgia on FB to find updated information. We will keep the website updated, throughout the event, with the current shelter list, road closures and more. For the most up to date weather info please check out your local news and weather stations. https://www.dadecounty-ga.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=88
