We have a new NOAH-doptable available: River! She is an approximately 3 year old German Shepherd mix, 53 lbs. She was in care of Animal Control, who worried she had heartworms, but we have checked her out tip to tail and she's in perfect health. She's a ball of energy, but is extremely sweet and gentle. She has exhibited some dog aggression, so she needs a home with someone who has Shepherd experience. If you are interested in adding River to your family please contact us to come by and meet her!

Our NOAH-Doptable, Tootsie, is looking cool and confident while getting some laser treatment for her arthritis. Of course she just had to have her Bunny with her for support. If you would like to meet Tootsie (you will LOVE her), please contact us so you can see just how great she is.

After heartworm treatment, Darlene needed 10 minutes with an ice pack. She wasn't a fan of the ice, but she forgot all about it when Hannah brought out the cheese. Sometimes, with Fear Free techniques, the diet goes out the window.

Let's hear it for Tux from the Humane Society of Blue Ridge! He started a weight loss program back in December with us that includes using our underwater treadmill. So far he has lost more than 17 pounds and is continuing to build muscle. We are dedicated to using our rehab tools to increase the quality of life for our patients. Now Tux not only has a chance to live longer, but also to be healthier and happier.

Introducing Izzy! Miss Izzy is an approximately 4 year old spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier, and she is a bundle of love. She was in training to be a service dog, but when she didn't pass her exam, she was not invited back home. Izzy is a princess, so while waiting to meet her new forever family, she requested a suite at the NOAH Resort. We also found out she's heartworm positive, so she'll be getting treated while she's here. If you'd like to come meet Izzy, please call us or Castoff Pet Rescue to learn more and set up a meeting.

Check out Tux from the Humane Society of Blue Ridge! He comes over once a week to work out with Brittany on the underwater treadmill as part of his weight loss plan. He has been losing 1 pound a week and slowly regaining muscle like a champ. Go Tux!

We just wanted to send out a heartwarming update on one of our old NOAH-doptables, Nacho. Our CSR Lynn Barnes adopted Nacho (the sleepy little chihuahua) last summer, and he is now being completely spoiled by his mom and new older sister, Quinn (the adorable dachshund). If you're interested in changing a life or two, please come by and meet our current rescues.

More good news! Charlie has been adopted as well and has moved to Flowery Branch with a new sister. She certainly looks happy to have him. Thanks again to Castoff Pet Rescue for helping us unite him with his new Mom. We'll miss having him here, but we're so glad he has a wonderful new family. In the meantime, we've taken in two new dogs from Animal Control, one of which we were able to unite with her family after three long months and the other you'll be meeting soon.

Great news everyone! Benson landed himself in an amazing new home for the New Year. We are so pleased with his new family and the help we received from Castoff Pet Rescue in finding his home. This also means we have more room, so Cassie is visiting Animal Control today. Keep an eye out for our new NOAH-doptables!
