Met with Brother Sidor yesterday at Powder Springs Church of God. It was great to be able to see him again after 2 years. He filled me in concerning the ministry... the school has grown from 90 to 396 students, feeding them the Word of God, knowledge to help them get out of poverty, and two meals a day. Currently there is also 4 thriving churches doing outreach. Although there are 4 churches involved and numerous individuals, the pandemic has crippled many of their supporter...s. God is still proving faithful. Right now safety is a big concern for those in ministry in Haiti and its not advisable for Americans to visit, because there are those looking for easy money. Please continue to pray for this ministry that is doing so much in this mountainous region away from the inner city that receives the majority of support. Haiti has come a long way since 1996 when I made my first visit. My hope is to be able to back next year if possible. If its God’s will I know he will make a way.

A new message from Brother Sidor in Haiti.... Dear partners and friends, In spite of all the doubt and uncertainty about the coronavirus pandemic, officially, Haitian churches are now opened for services and schools will be opened on August 10th.... Please continue to pray for the Lahai-Roi ministry. And we need more than ever your financial support. We, now, resume all our ministry's projects. Since the beginning of July, we started with the food ministry distributions to the neediest families. Special thanks to Culdee Presbyterian church in NC and to all our donors who helped to buy and stock enough food so that we can assist various families during these most crucial and hungry months, July and August. Our school will be opened on August 10th. Also this week, I am going to get the permit so that we can go to the prison in Saint-Marc for evangelism and to bring to the jailers and their staff a special hot meal. Our church members will have to cook for over 80 inmates plus the staff and we will take the hot pots to the prisons for distribution with a bottle of cool drink to each person. As we keep you in our fervent prayers, please keep praying for us and do not hesitate to invest in this ministry. Everything we do is for the glory of our God and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
