This afternoon, our office staff got together for their annual holiday celebration! Of course this year looked a little different due to COVID...Thank you to Curious Kitchen for providing us with our own area to enjoy a delicious lunch! And thank you to Royal Lanes for private bowling lanes for us to enjoy! We pride ourselves on not only getting along at work, but also outside of the workplace. She has been with Peachtree Pediatric Dentistry for three years and has been a dental hygienist for 21 years. Shanna is the mom of two teenage boys, Ayden and Evan. Meet the staff Monday! Everyone say hello to Jan Evans! Jan has been a Registered Dental Hygienist with Peachtree Pediatric Dentistry for over 21 years, and is a long time resident of Fayette County! She has a love for the community she lives and works in. Jan has a great commitment to her patients to understand how to best relate and take them through the dental office process, whether it be a first-time or long-time patient. She strives for each patient to have the b...est experience, while encouraging them to have good oral hygiene by proper brushing and flossing. Jan’s outside interests involve volunteering for Royal Animal Refuge, a local rescue for dogs and cats. She enjoys fostering dogs until they find their forever home. She currently has 4 rescue dogs! Jan also enjoys cardio and strength building exercises, along with her own type of free style dancing! Next time you are in our office, you may be lucky enough to have your teeth cleaned by Jan! Marie is married to Wayne, and they have two sons together, Wayne and Justin. The family also includes their three rescue dogs Roxy, King and Bubba. ... She enjoys spending time with her family and helping with her favorite rescue, Royal Animal Rescue. Good morning from our three doctors! If you have not had the opportunity to meet all of our fabulous pediatric dentists, here is a little bit about each of them Dr. Barry K. Marcum obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida. He has been in private practice since 1995. He enjoys fly-fishing, boating and basketball. Dr. Marcum and his wife, Sharon, have two children..., Russell and Ellie. Dr. Eric D. Mobley has been in private practice since 1998. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky and completed his pediatric dental residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He enjoys mountain climbing, biking, traveling, golf and spending time with his family. Dr. Kiersten J. Pannell just recently joined the practice after obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia and completing a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Florida (following in the footsteps of Dr. Marcum!). In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. Dr. Pannell and her husband, Jonathan, have three children, Wyatt, Walker and Isla.

The most precious little girl came in for her first dental visit today! Not only did she do an excellent job of sitting still and listening, she also has no cavities! The patient loves Paw Patrol (notice her adorable PP rain boots!), and her favorite character is Skye. She was able to bond with Dr. Pannell, whose favorite character is also Skye! At Peachtree Pediatric Dentistry, Drs. Marcum, Mobley and Pannell love to not only talk teethbut we also love to hear about ea...ch patient’s interests and hobbies! This sweet girl came into the office today for a cleaning, x-rays, an exam, and fluoride application! She was a little nervous at first, but ultimately became comfortable thanks to our amazing hygienist, Robin! Our team of hygienists, assistants and doctors are here to make your child’s dental visit pleasant and fun! We pride ourselves on our patience and ability to decrease patient anxiety, which leads to stress-free dental visits!
