It's that time of year again. A time to see if you have what it takes to go head-to-head with Clark Griswold. Even if you were not nominated for Yard of the Month this past season, you now have a chance to win a unique, limited-time prize. Our lawns and other plant life have gone into hibernation for the Winter, so now's you chance to be recognized, even if you don't have a green thumb. From now through Christmas, the Board of Directors will be awarding a weekly prize to a ho...me that adorned with Christmas decorations. Each week, the winner of this distinction will have a sign placed in their yard by a Board member to recognize the homeowner's efforts (not to mention the increase in the home's power bill.) As is the case with the Yard of the Month, nominations for this award can be submitted to the Board via. phone (678-848-5511) or e-mail ([email protected]). Weekly winners will be chosen by the Board from the nominees. Although we do not have formal judging criteria, a home may qualify for the award if it meets one of the following criteria: 1: The home can be seen from the International Space Station after dark 2: Plant Bowen knows the home's lights have been activated each night, as evidenced by a noticeable surge in power demand. 3: Any other criteria that the nominator deems worthy, even if it does not involve hordes of lights. Dress warmly, and be careful as you climb ladders and work with electricity during the holiday season!

The blood drive that was planned for this Saturday has been postponed. Blood Assurance's Bloodmobile has been called up to the Chattanooga area this weekend to help with the surge in demand for blood products, resulting from the bus accident in that area. We plan to reschedule this event for a future date.
