"THE SILVERSMITH" I recall a story I heard as a young boy about the Silversmith, I'll try to recall it as best I can. In order for the Silversmith to obtain the... purest form of silver is quite the amazing process. First, he will heat the silver up in a cauldron on high. As the silver begins to heat up, the impurities begin to surface. When they surface, the Silversmith will take his ladle, and scoop off the impurities from the silver. He will then turn up the heat even higher and more and more impurities begin to surface to the top. He again takes his ladle and removes those impurities. This process is repeated many many times.... UNTIL..... The Silversmith KNOWS that he has purified the silver to perfection, when he can look down into the silver in the cauldron... AND SEE A PERFECT REFLECTION OF HIMSELF!!!!! My friends, God is our Silversmith, and He has allowed many of us to have the heat turned up time and again... Removing the impurities. The purpose for this is, when He is finished, God can look down at us and see a reflection of Himself! Then and ONLY THEN can God send us forth that the world might see HIM, THROUGH US!!! Zechariah 13:9: "I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’

Remember, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? God didn't put out the fire. He just put Jesus in there with them and they came out without smoke. It's not about God... stopping all the things that may look bad; it's about Who is in there with you. You will come out of this fire loosed from what had you bound and without the smell of smoke, just like the Hebrew boys did!
