Dysgraphia often disrupts our students’ ability to take appropriate notes and express their thoughts in writing. Having appropriate classroom accommodations can help them to show us what they know in a written form.

I am both a dyslexia specialist and the mom of 2 dyslexic sons. So before heading out to schools to teach my students, we begin our day with homeschool lessons and of course part of our lessons are Orton-Gillingham.

All tutoring and training has been virtual since March but now it’s time to prepare for in-person instruction. Every student now has their own pouch with their own individual manipulative sets, deck, notebooks and everything the need to write with. Excited to see my kiddos face to face again soon!

Another business birthday today! This, no longer so little, boy is another huge motivator for my business. He learns differently, but is full of bright ideas and creative problem solving! Happy 12th Birthday E! P.S. This is how he chose to do virtual learning in the spring: making his own stand-in students to join him on Zoom calls. He keeps learning interesting :-)
