Suwanee PTA has been so busy this semester, modifying programs to make sure that we still have a full calendar of events and activities for our families and staff to enjoy. To highlight all of that hard work, we created a little parody song. There's so much material that we had to add an extra day, and this doesn't even include December! We hope you enjoy "The (13!) If you ordered items online during our Wonderland Holiday Shop and chose for your items to be shipped to the school, your order has arrived! Stop by the school anytime between 8:30am-3:30pm to pick up your items from the front desk. You may also pick up your order on Thursday evening from 4:30pm-5:30 pm.

Suwanee Elementary School Spirit Night at Sonic is TONIGHT from 5pm-9pm. Enjoy an easy and tasty dinner at Sonic, with their new spirit night format, Stay In Your Car (with the heater on!). The Sonic carhops will note down each child's homeroom teacher, and the class that has the largest attendance at Sonic Night will receive the free ice cream coupons!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an incredible night at Suwanee Elementary. We had such an incredible turnout tonight for the Suwanee Spooktacular. Thank you to everyone that came! We appreciate your patience with the line. A HUGE thank you for our teachers, staff, and volunteers for staying an extra hour to make sure that all of the kids got to participate. It's almost time! The Suwanee Spooktacular is TOMORROW!!!!! We are so excited for this event. Be sure to join us from 5:30pm - 7pm. (Note: This is a quick event and should not take you more than 20 minutes to go all the way through once you have checked in. You do not have to be here at 5:30pm. As long as you are here by 7pm, you will get to join the fun!) A few reminders: 1. Bring donations for the North Gwinnett Co-Op and help your student win a popsicle party for the...ir grade. The grade with the most number of items donated during the Suwanee Spooktacular will win a popsicle party! Digital students will be able to pick up a popsicle to enjoy. 2. We'd love to see all of our friends in their costumes (and bonus points for decorating your cars). However, please remember that the costumes should not be worn during the school day on Friday. 3. Suwanee Elementary will be supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta by participating in Cape Day on October 16th and then hosting a snack collection drive Nov 9-13. What is Cape Day? Cape Day is an annual tradition that honors and celebrates the superhero patients battling illnesses and injuries at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. While young patients at Children’s Healthcare may battle near impossible obstacles on a daily basis, we want to empower them to be brave, be bo...ld, and be fearless. Wearing a cape gives them the power to envision their dreams and helps them feel like the superheroes they are. Please join us as we celebrate all of the superhero patients by wearing a cape on Cape Day, October 16, 2020. What is Suwanee Elementary doing? Suwanee Elementary will be encouraging all students and staff to wear a cape on October 16th. Any cape will work. Check your dress up costumes or even a pillow case safety pinned at the shoulders will make a great cape! For more ideas on making a cape, check out the video. In November we'll be collecting non-perishable snacks and drinks to send to CHOA for their snack bag program. These snack bags are for the families of patients who are hospitalized at CHOA. Finally, don’t forget to send in a photo of your child wearing a cape for the yearbook. You can email the photo to [email protected] or submit through the Balfour ImageShare App using our school’s yearbook project number 126505.
