This weekend at the Swan we have a great double feature. Friday and Saturday,September 18 and 19, our first feature is The Wizard Of Oz, Rated PG. Our second feature is Dirty Dancing, Rated PG13. Sunday, September 20, we will be playing The Wizard of Oz. The show starts 8 so don't be late. We will see you there. :D

The swan has always took pride in being a first run movie theatre. We have been trying to provide a family friendly entertainment option that is safe and enjoyable, even despite these circumstances. While there may not be many new movie options, we hope you enjoy watching our hand picked classic combos on the big screen.

Hey there! It's Steven here, and I wanted to let y'all know of an opportunity that I have been given by the owners (my grandparents) of The Swan. As many of y'all know, I will be leaving for college in early August, and plan to go to The University of North Georgia to study Film and Digital Media with a concentration in production. I will be selling exclusive screen advertising for our theatre, and the commission that I make off of every ad sold will go towards my college fund. I have been given the green light for ten 20 second still image ads. These will play every time there is a movie shown at the theatre. Thank you to everyone who came to the free graduation celebration showing at the theatre this weekend. It meant a lot to me to see all of the people that have w...atched me grow up at the theatre over the years. I feel very honored to have been given a weekend like this to celebrate my graduation. A special thanks to all of those who left me cards and graduation gifts & donations. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve grown up at the theatre like it was my 2nd home. When I was just a baby, I sat in the ticket office in an infant carrier with my mom as she sold tickets. As I got a little older, I got to move into the big leagues - the concession stand. I sat at the end of the counter and shook hands with every person that came through the counter and met them. A few years later, My grandpa taught me to play guitar, and when I was 7 years old I got to sit on the bench in the concession stand and played guitar with my case open for people to give me tips. I felt like the coolest kid in town! Time progressed, and when I got a little older I started pouring drinks behind the counter. I got to learn all about the concession stand and eventually learned to make all of the food. People still come in today and request for me to come in and make their Mayor Burgers. In 2017, I moved outside, and I have spent my time since riding around the field assisting people as needed. The drive in is my home, and will always be. In August, I am going off to college at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega to study Film and Digital Media with a concentration in production. I hope to eventually work in the movie production industry in Atlanta. See more

Double Feature Showing at 9 PM The Addams Family (2019) - Rated PG Showing at 10:30 PM Valley Girl (2020) - Rated PG-13 Our altered social distancing rules will remain in place for the time being. We appreciate everyone’s patience and consideration. Just a heads up for all of our serious movie watchers; we have been very blessed these past few weeks to have many people attending the movies. The box office is scheduled to open at 7PM, but we will have to open early if the lines are in the road. We also have a limited number of available spaces due to our social distancing guidelines. It is recommended if traveling from far away to the theatre that you come early to ensure you have a space. Be on the lookout for a post soon about a special weekend coming soon!
