January 7, 2021 Dear RISE Scholars, Families, Colleagues, and Friends, Yesterday, we all watched in horror as insurrectionists attacked the Capitol. Please make no mistake; what we saw yesterday was shameful and anti-democratic. Against the backdrop of the first Black Georgian, and only the 11th Black person in our nation's history, to be elected to the United States Senate, our Capitol was breached and ransacked for the first time since 1814. Then it was by a foreign power, ...Continue reading

Good Afternoon All, Due to the power outage from Zeta last week, The RISE Schools phone lines are currently still down, and our phone provider is working diligently to resolve this problem. We have a temporary phone in place, and if you need assistance, please call 404-434-4672 during the hours of 8 am-4 pm. We will send out communication once the main school lines are back up and working. Thanks

Hey RISE Family! We hope that you and your loved ones are all doing well. Given the impact of Zeta, today, Thursday, October 29th will not be counted as an instructional day. Scholars who completed any assigned asynchronous instruction may receive credit; however, scholars who were unable to do so will be held harmless and there will be no negative impact to their grades or attendance. In addition, as many of us continue to deal with the aftermath of Zeta, tomorrow, Friday, October 30th will also be cancelled as an instructional day for scholars. Furthermore, we hope that tomorrow will provide an opportunity for all our scholars, families, and staff to recover from this storm. With all that being said, the campus will also be closed to everyone tomorrow. Be well and stay safe.
