Trion Wrestling

Silas went 5-0 at the Middle School State Duals yesterday, officially giving him a completely undefeated 6th grade middle school season. (16-0 with 12 pins, 1 m...ajor & 3 decisions) He defeated every opponent he faced this year & we are beyond pumped about it. Thank you to his coaches for their wisdom & guidance, his teammates for their encouragement & support and our fellow parents for cheering on our boy! Anyone who knows & watches this boy knows that he gives every ounce he has in him at practice & on those mats. He has busted his tail to get here. He wanted this so bad. He wanted to help his team as much as he could & he's happy to have done his part to the best of his ability. We love this program & this team, and we love wrestling! Matt & I have covered this child of ours in prayer so strongly this year. Thank you God for keeping him safe & for every single victory. It all comes back to YOU. We've always taught Silas that who he is as a person, & more importantly, who he is in Christ far outweighs who he is as an athlete. Our Dogs traveled to Lumpkin County High School today for a tough traditional tournament and to celebrate Coach Brock’s Birthday. There were several powerhouse teams present and our boys battled and came away with a 1st place in team points.
