We are excited to partner with the ADS Department today for the UGA in the 28th Edition Focus on Genetically Enhanced EPDs Sale! In lieu of hosting the Great Southland Stampede Rodeo this year, our hands-on involvement has been focused on gaining experience in cattle sales and marketing. Proceeds from the Registered Angus Open Heifer will go towards replacing the funds normally derived from GSSR. We are extremely thankful for this opportunity and for the donations derived from this event to go towards scholarships and leadership development events for our club members! Videos will also be available before and broadcast during the auction. Pickup and payment of the animals will be scheduled with Kip McMillan and Patsie Cannon (229/881-2705 or [email protected]) following the sale. OCTOBER 8th We will be hosting the Georgia Mobile Dairy Classroom with @uga_yfr and @ugadairyscienceclub at the Livestock Arena! Ice cream will be served at both sessions. 6:15 - geared toward younger kids of faculty, staff, and community members 6:45 - bring your friends and come out for a demonstration geared towards college students!

*Officer Spotlight* Serving as our President this year is Jenna Farmer! Jenna is a 4th year animal science major from Conyers, Georgia. This summer she has interned at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in their Reproduction Center. My favorite part about Block and Bridle is the family atmosphere and seeing everyone come together and having a good time! We hope y’all have enjoyed getting to know our Officer team for the year and we can’t wait to meet y’all in just a few weeks!

*Officer Spotlight* Serving as our Historian this year is Samantha Ayoub! Sam is a sophomore Agriculture and Applied Economics Major from Jefferson, GA. Her favorite thing about Block and Bridle is getting to hang out with people who have a shared passion for agriculture.

*Officer Spotlight* Our Marshall this year is Jacob Fowler! Jacob is an Animal Science major. This is his 2nd year in this Officer position. His favorite Block and Bridle memory is the Block and Bridle Olympics Slip and Slide!

*Officer Spotlight* Serving as our @ugagssr Rodeo Co-Chairman is Emily Leonard! Emily is a third year Agricultural Communications Major with a Certificate in Leadership and Service from Statenville, GA. This summer she is back home working on a produce farm! My favorite part about BNB is getting to spend time with people who have a shared passion for the Agriculture industry!

*Officer Spotlight* Serving as our secretary this year is Andi Pearson! Andi is a third year math education major. What she enjoys most about Block and Bridle is being able to get away from school stuff and hang out with wonderful people. It is so nice to see so many smiling faces in one place!

*Officer Spotlight* Our Pit Boss this year is Peyton Parker! Peyton is a 4th year Poultry Science major from Butler, GA. His favorite thing about Block and Bridle is having a good time with friends while still being able to accomplish tasks. This summer he is working with Sports Turf, Inc.
