Leadership Spotlight: Danny Niconovich is a senior music education major from Dahlonega, GA. Danny has played trumpet for 13 years, more than half his life. Some of his favorite works he's performed include Symphony No. 3 "Slavyanskaya" by Boris Kozhevnikov or Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein. In his free time, Danny enjoys working on his car and watching motorsports. In the future, Danny hopes to teach a high school band, but is happy teaching any grade level. His favorite part about being in the UNG Band program is the ability to escape his stress, homework, and pressures of life while making great music with great people.

Leadership Spotlight: Nick DiPaola is a senior music education major with a focus in euphonium. Nick is originally from Staten Island, NY. Nick has played euphonium for 11 years, with some of his favorite pieces being Rhapsody for Euphonium by James Curnow and Beautiful Colorado by Joseph de Luca. In his spare time, Nick enjoys knitting and playing video games. His future plans include teaching middle school band. Nick's favorite part about being a member of the UNG Band Program is being able to play pieces that challenge him to be a better musician and push his limits.

Happy to perform for the West Hall Band Booster Meeting. Also looking forward to talking to students and parents about scholarship opportunities available in the UNG music department!
