Did you know Coast Guard Air Station Savannah routinely trains in our local rivers? We conduct hoist training in tidal rivers, which challenge our crews with the shifting currents and winds. Here, a crew works with our local Auxiliary partners in the Wilmington River, Georgia. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is frequently called upon to assist the Air Station in meeting their training and proficiency goals.... Daniel Grantham Jr
