Middle School Boys Basketball practice has been canceled for today!

Raad Tidings Christmas play. Thank you to all the elementary students for all your hard work, Thomas Guest controlling the sound board, Holley Guest for the pics, Mrs. Guest for directing, Mandy Edge for helping out with costumes, PTR, faculty and all the parents for your help. It really is a family event and no one does anything alone. We are so proud of how well this program turned out!

We need your support and prayers! One of our very own Knight families is now in the fight that no family wants to be in. Carter and Callie Mathis are both students here at Windsor Academy, and their mother, Chelsea Mathis, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We would love for you all to help us support them with prayer, encouraging words, and financially if you are able. We have bracelets for sell in the Knight's Armory Spirit Shop for $5.00. They are a great way to ease the financial burden and will serve as a reminder to continue pray for them during this difficult time. Thank you all in advance, and we hope you will all stand together with Chelsea, her husband Allen, and her children Carter, and Callie in this fight.

Come out and cheer our Knights and Lady Knights on to victory! ... COVID - 19 Guidelines below: The focus of Windsor Academy is the health and well being of all students, players, faculty, and fans. To minimize any possibility of the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented several guidelines that will be enforced during basketball season. A list of these requirements are below: *Masks are required for all people in attendance. We will give a warning, but if the attendant refuses security will remove them from the game. *Masks are not required for athletes who are currently playing or on the bench. *Temperatures will be checked upon entry. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed into the facility. *Our concession stand will be open inside of the lunchroom. ALL FOOD and DRINKS must be kept inside the lunchroom area. No food or drink is allowed back into the gym. This is to prevent fans from removing masks while in the gym. *Children are not allowed to play in hallways or in the cafeteria. They must be supervised by their parents in the bleachers. *Home side and visiting side will be clearly marked. The home side will be the side closest to the cafeteria. The visiting side will be behind both benches. Please be sure fans sit in the appropriate area. *The clock keeper and official (home) bookkeeper along with the announcer are the only ones allowed at the score table. Visiting books must be kept behind player bench or on the bench. *Cheerleaders: Home and away cheerleaders will be on the same side as their fans. Visiting cheerleaders will be behind the visiting bench and home cheerleaders will be directly across the gym from the home bench. *Cheerleaders will also be required to wear a mask. We will be abiding by all GISA protocols. Admission: Varsity- $9 Adults and $5 Students Middle School- $6 Adults and $4 Students Windsor students are $1. These guidelines are subject to modification throughout the season. Please help us by sharing these guidelines with your fans to ensure proper safety. 5th grade has been using their electricity and magnetism skills to become toy engineers. Ms. Houston is SO impressed with their work and says several of the groups had college-level designs!

Okay Italian day!!! Fresh baked garlic bread and made from scratch Alfredo pasta. 100% kid approved and so easy. In a heavy sauce pan melt 1 stick of butter, about 1-1.5 cups of heavy cream, about 1C. of grated parmesean cheese , and 2 C mozzarella cheese. I say "about" because you can't go wrong. We just add a little of this and that till it came out smoothe. Then we added a little garlic salt to pep it up. You can add real garlic, meat, veggies.... Then mix it with fettuccini noodles. They loved this and kept coming back up for seconds. Get your kids to make something at home that we have made at school, and they will earn a 100 test grade. Send Mrs. Guest pics or tag me in a FB post and I'll geive them a grade.

We made peach cobbler and grilled cheese in home ec. I forgot my camera so had to snap a pic back in my art room. I found this starving kid that just so happens to like peach cobbler A LOT to give it a taste test. Two thumbs up says Marcus!!!

It is almost time for our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament! The tournament is November 13th at Oakview Golf Course. We will be having a meeting this Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30pm in the lunchroom.
