Parents of 6th grade students only, Out of an abundance of caution the entire 6th grade will begin Learning from Home tomorrow, Monday, December 14, 2020. All 6th grade students will receive assignments through Google Classroom beginning tomorrow, Monday, December 14th. We will have a Chromebook and packet pickup tomorrow between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. No 6th grade student should report to school until January 5, 2021. If your child was a direct exposure to a known positive, you have received a phone call from a school official. This is for 6th grade only.

Families now have the option to change their student’s instructional model from distance learning to traditional (face-to-face) learning prior to the end of the semester. If a parent/guardian selects this option, the student(s) will remain enrolled as a distance-learning student and complete all assignments until the end of the first nine weeks ending October 27. Please be reminded that all work assigned through distance learning will count for the student’s 1st nine weeks gr...ade. These students will begin traditional (face-to-face) learning at the beginning of the second nine weeks on October 28 and remain a traditional student for the remainder of the school year. To change to traditional learning, a parent/guardian must sign an intent form at the Lincoln County BOE between Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25, from 8:00 - 4:00 pm. No changes will occur with a phone call or e-mail. There is nothing to do if your student will remain a distance learner the remainder of the semester. Second-semester options for students who remain as distance learners will be determined at a later date. See more
The Lincoln County School District will begin providing free meals to all students starting immediately through December 18, 2020, or until federal funding is depleted, whichever comes first. All students of Lincoln County Schools are eligible to receive free meals (breakfast and lunch) during this time, regardless of their meal status. This applies to meals served to students when they are attending school in person or when they are participating in the Virtual Learning option. Do nothing, If your ch...ild will attend school under the traditional model and you have not previously completed an enrollment form. C. Complete the selection survey, if you now want to sign your child up for distance learning and have not completed an enrollment form previously. D. Complete the selection survey, if you wish to change your previously enrolled distance learning student to traditional (face-to-face) instruction. Complete the selection survey online OR in person at the Board of Education office by 5 PM on Monday, August 3rd. https://forms.gle/bujEMGNLU3Z7MqvYA
