Families now have the option to change their student’s instructional model from distance learning to traditional (face-to-face) learning prior to the end of the semester. If a parent/guardian selects this option, the student(s) will remain enrolled as a distance-learning student and complete all assignments until the end of the first nine weeks ending October 27. Please be reminded that all work assigned through distance learning will count for the student’s 1st nine weeks gr...ade. These students will begin traditional (face-to-face) learning at the beginning of the second nine weeks on October 28 and remain a traditional student for the remainder of the school year. To change to traditional learning, a parent/guardian must sign an intent form at the Lincoln County BOE between Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25, from 8:00 - 4:00 pm. No changes will occur with a phone call or e-mail. There is nothing to do if your student will remain a distance learner the remainder of the semester. Second-semester options for students who remain as distance learners will be determined at a later date. See more
