Equipping For The Game, aka EFTG, is hosting a Free Basketball Camp for Newton County Recreation Department Basketball participants. Equipping For The Game is k...nown for assisting and developing basketball players from grassroots through the professional level. The camp will be held from December 29th through December 31st, 2020. Each session is limited to 32 children. Participants will need to bring their own individual water bottle. Water coolers will be turned off. The Newton County Recreation Department will host the Recreation Department's first Drive-Boo this year. Cars and Vehicles Only! Trick or Treat while staying inside the car for Social Distancing. Please No Trick or Treating on Foot. This is a free community event that will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Turner Lake Complex located at 6185 Turner Lake Road, Covington,Georgia 30014.

This is a Drive-Thru Event and Everyone will stay in their cars. Children must be in the car to receive a book bag. Limit 3 bookbags per car. Bags are only for Grades K - 5th Grade.

Come have some Cheer Fun with Former NFL Cheerleader Nicole Duncan and the Newton County Recreation Department. We are excited and proud to present our Summer Cheer Camp. This camp is for youth ages 6 - 12 years of age. We will be holding camp on Monday, August 3, 2020, through Thursday, August 6, 2020. The camp will meet at 9 AM - 12 PM Daily and each participant will receive a Cheer Goody Bag and all CDC Covid-19 Guidelines will be followed and physical contact will be avoided. Space is limited and we have 14 slots left before we close registration on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 12:00 PM.
