Balletfest came through yet again with some amazing classes! Can’t wait to get started on Day 2!

What a wonderful evening at the ballet! It’s always so great to see them up onstage doing what they love. Good job girls!

Big congrats to our soloist, duets, and trios- also all High Gold! @rellie20, @alainna_batchelor, @dqualls11 and @h.b.biles are all so proud of the hard work you have put in! It’s competition day!!! Let’s go ladies!

Whoa, 2020 you were a crazy one. You took our recital, you took some of our seniors final bows, you took our studio away and gave us computer screens, you took our comfort but the one thing you didn’t take was our love for dance! 2020, May you always be the year we remember as the year we truly learned that dance is something that lies within us. It’s not a building, a teacher or a part. It’s the music that makes our heart beat, the wind the brushes our feet to move. May 2020... be the year that reminds us to never take for granted that gift that we have been given and that we never forget how much we love our family of choice. 2020 you took many things from us that we thought made us dancers but you didn’t actually take our dance. 2021, we promise to love our selves, our bodies, our family of choice and we promise to never take for granted each time we GET to walk into that studio and work hard at the thing we love the most! 2021 be kind to us. 2020... Happy New Year to all our GDSB family! Classes start back Jan 4th and if you aren’t apart of the GDSB family and want to be it’s not too late to register!

It takes a disciplined mind to understand that you have to take the stairs to get to the top. The elevator may get you there faster but you’ve missed all the lessons a long the way. Trials and failures are the building blocks to success. Don’t speed up the process and miss out on the moments that teach you how to get there. The lessons are the important part... not the top.

What a cool way to end 2020, a year that has been full of unexpected twist and turns but look what our community has done for us as a business! Thank you to everyone that voted for us (even when we didn’t know we were in the running), you guys are what make us the best of the best! Love to you all!
