March 22, 2021 We are looking for a full time Receptionist to work the front desk of the clinic. It is a Full Time Position, requiring 40 hours minimum per week.... No Online Applications Accepted. All applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. The position requires you to be operating at the front desk, greeting people and taking down information as they come in for services. A People person is recommended, as you will be dealing with a multitude of people every day. This is an Entry Level position and will start at minimum wage. Adjustments may be discussed during the interview. Applications are available at the front desk of the clinic. Please apply at the front counter with the receptionist. We currently have an open position of Kennel Assistant. Online applications are not accepted and will be ignored. You must apply IN PERSON. The position is Kennel Assistant and covers cleaning and maintaining the four areas of animal kennels as well as the various offices and grounds here at the clinic. Your workday will begin at 8:30 am every day until at least 6:00 during the week and 5:00 on Saturdays. There may be some overtime involved as well. You must be able to work w...ell with animals, mostly dogs and cats. Also, you must be able to physically handle large and small pets in an efficient manner. Lots of people often have trouble visualizing what their overweight animals should look like at a pet weight. Following a recent surge in volume, we regret to inform you that, after March 31, 2021, the Gordon Animal Clinic will no longer be offering C-sections as a service to our clients. We appreciate the opportunity you have given us over the past 10 years to help deliver hundreds of adorable puppies and kittens safely into the world. Unfortunately, with the increased clientele and limited time within the day, we are no longer going to be able to provide this surgery. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and wish everyone the best as we all tackle this new year.

For those people who are applying for the position of receptionist online, our ad states that online applications will not be accepted. You must apply in person. All online ads will be ignored.

Gordon Animal Clinic would like to announce that we will no longer be offering elective boarding for pets for extended durations. Animals that are dropped off for surgery or for treatments that are required to stay overnight for a few nights will be allowed. But we will no longer keep animals for an extended stay as we have in the past. There are other facilities in the surrounding areas that are better equipped to keep animals for extended times. Thank you.

The Christmas schedule for the Gordon Animal Clinic will be as follows. We will be open on December 24th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. . There will be no elective surgeries on that day. You must be signed in by 12 noon to be seen by a doctor. Elective surgeries include spay, neuter, ear crop, Etc. Emergency surgeries are allowed. We will be closed December 25th and December 26th and will reopen on December 28th for normal hours. For New Year's, we will be open all day on New Year's Eve but we will be closed January 1st for New Year's Day.

Good morning. In the recent past, many people have tried to contact the clinic through the Facebook page to ask about the status of their pet that is at the clinic. Please be aware, the page is set up for information content only. As the moderator of the page, I do not have access to information concerning pets currently in the clinic or to any of the files at the clinic. Therefore, I am unable to answer questions about a specific pet or to give out information from your file... concerning shot histories or medication. To access that information, you must contact the clinic proper by phone at 478-628-5376. I understand that you might get a busy signal several times in a row, but it is the only phone number we have and all I can do is tell you to keep trying and you will eventually get through. Please be aware of this when you try to contact the clinic through this page. Again, it is set up for information purposes only, not a real time check on your animal or file. Thank you.
