My Kids Have Paws 13.12.2020

Hi folks! We have our strange schedule for this week: Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Closed Wed and Sunday We are still curbside-only, but we are undergoing some construction in hopes to slowly open the doors within the next month or two. It really depends on how COVID progresses.... We don't have plans to travel any time soon because of COVID, but we are hoping to be able to in the spring. We will have our next ROME transport day (meet a van in Rome and your kitty or small dog can be transported to Dalton for you) on Dec 17th. There is an additional $10 transportation fee on top of the surgery fee for this service to help the rescue organization (Floyd Felines) offset their cost of renting a van. Please call the clinic to make your appointment. Because of the huge number of no-shows for surgery, we are now requiring a deposit when booking your surgery. This is refundable if you give us 2 days' notice. Otherwise, it is non-refundable. For EXAMS, we are appointment-only. For VACCINES/Heartworm Tests/Etc., we are by-appointment OR walk-in. Surgeries are by appointment EXCEPT for ferals and boy cats. Ferals must be in humane traps and can be dropped off between 9:30 and 9:45. Boy cats without an appointment can be dropped off between 9:30 and 9:45. If you'd like an earlier drop-off time, please call and schedule an appointment. If you need to enter our building for any reason, you must wear a mask. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Have a safe and happy week!

We are back up and running! But bear with us this week as we adjust our internet and phone strength - we may have occasional outages this week. We hope you had a great holiday weekend! We are open Monday-Friday this week. ... We are still observing COVID protocols - curbside service, must wear a mask to enter the building for any reason. Our exams are by-appointment only. But vaccine visits are either by-appointment or walk-in. You may have a longer wait time for walk-ins. We also still accept male cats for neutering without an appointment - drop-off is between 9:30 and 9:45. If you need an earlier drop-off time, please call and schedule an appointment. We also accept true feral cats in traps without an appointment - please try to drop off between 9:30 and 9:45. Thank you, and please stay healthy and safe!

Folks, Charter is having major issues, so our internet and phones have been down for 2 days. They may not be able to fix it until tomorrow. If you've been trying to reach us and haven't gotten an answer, that is why. We didn't know because of the holiday. If you need to reach us, please message us on Facebook or email us at [email protected]. Thank you!

Next Tuesday, Dec 1st, is our next Rome transport day. Our wonderful rescue partner will transport your kitty or small dog from Rome to Dalton for surgery and then back to Rome at the end of the day. A $10 transport fee will be added to the cost of the surgery to cover the rescue groups costs. If you're interested in this service, please give us a call to book your appointment - 706-671-1104. You will need to pay a deposit to reserve your spot. Thanks!
