URGENT PLEA List - Clayton County Animal Control, Jonesboro, GA. These sweet dogs are now on the Urgent Plea list and must have rescue commitment by 1:00 pm on October 29. They have been patiently waiting and looking with sad eyes through the bars of their kennels hopeful that someone would take them. With all the loud barking in a shelter environment they beg with their eyes and wagging tails. Please remember Clayton is a KILL shelter and more dogs are coming in daily. ...These dogs need rescue and donations to help with vetting, boarding and other care until they can get them adopted. Clayton County Animal Control (under the Clayton County Police Dept) handles all rescues and adoptions. We are an advocate group that helps raise funds and find rescues, however, we are not a rescue and do not pull dogs.
